Court Avenue mural of ‘The Bachelor’ replaced by ‘Love Blooms,’ new art celebrating diversity

No longer will the Iowa Bachelor look out on Court Avenue crowds: the mural has been replaced with one representing Iowa’s diversity.

The mural featuring Chris Soules, the reality TV show star of “The Bachelor” from Arlington, Iowa, graced the side of RoCA at 208 Court Ave. along with a quilt of other murals for five years after the star’s visit to Des Moines in October.
